MACHINE REVENGE - PREDATOR (2010)

Machine Revenge is a side project of Alex Strunz (DJ, producer and the mind behind the live PA Vector Commander), with vocals of his friend Erik Thurm. The project was created in 2004 with the idea to make EBM/Industrial Dance Music directed to machinery automation, bringing a bunch of influences, fusions and experiences.

Machine Revenge have been released three albuns so far – Analog Chaos (04), Mechanical Distortion (04) and The Development of Artificial Intelligence (05) – and played at important music festivals such as Machina Festival II (open act for Cassandra Complex) and the Curitiba’s Industrial Noise Fest II.

“Predator”, the new single released for free download by Phantasma13, presents 08 smashing remixes by big brazilian acts like Simbolo and Frontrunner, newcomers like Del Naja, Dformed, kFactor and Helldrigo (from Tatari Gami), besides the colombian sensation Psyborg Corp. and Adam Jones (lead singer of american industrial band Savi0r).

Two years after its debut album "10% for Jesus", the Brazilian band PECADORES is releasing a
new cd in 2010.
To understand the band's concept one must learn about its general context, Pecadores isn't
only music, its theatre, behavior and social criticism.
It's impossible to fit Pecadores' sonority into any style previously known. Pecadores goes
far beyond labels, the band itself doesn't label its style as EBM or Industrial properly.
Although its music has an electronic basis, the style is very diverse; it goes from Goth to
Industrial to Electro and so on.

The lyrics tell a lot about the reality of Brazilian religions which very often exploits the
poverty from most desperate people who look for miracles to sort out their problems. It's a
reality of ignorance and opportunism as one feeds the other.

Great sense of humour, usually a dark one, is the tone of the lyrics and the live concerts
which are attended by a legion of fans at Pecadores' homeland. Those live concerts are the
band's highlight. Pecadores music has lots of samples taken by local cults and Brazilian
percussions together with electronic drums.

Listeners can find Brazilian mysticism in Pecadores peculiar songs never heard before in
Goth/Industrial scene. The sonority with electronic elements is very original.
At a musical environment where lack of creativity very often prevails, Pecadores creates a
unique musicality from different elements bringing something new to the underground scene.

The New Album bring us 13 tracks, with 11 new tracks and 2 remixes by Nahtaivel (Brazil) and
Mechanical Moth (Germany). All samples inside this new album come of many different religion

Born in the end of 2005, Euphorbia comes from a former electro solo project called [maschine]. Cirion Barboza, interested in bands like Rammstein, Kraftwerk and Einsturzende Neubauten, invited a friend who had prior experience in composing electronic body music to start a new project. Ulisses Righi accepted the invitation and started to share his love for electronic music in the new project: an Electro/Industrial duo, characterized by atmospheric and heavy songs. Through metalized synths, aggressive beats and harsh vocals, Euphorbia is conceived to touch men's innermost feelings.

Midnight'mare is a Brazilian Dark Electro unit, mixing harsh and distorted melodies, with the pureness of classical and baroque inspired compositions for piano, harpsichord, pipe organ, and strings.
The lyrics are inspired by religion taboos and conflicts, but not always, but always with hellish ideas.
Every work, its a new complex history, a new complex nightmare without ending.

The project started on October of 2008, with Mizuh on Controllers, Venus on Keyboard, and Lucie as the Main Singer, and composer. Mizuh and Venus decided to left the band for their own projects, so as Lucie always was the head and founder fo the band, he kept the band alive, and now have a support singer, Fee, that will help in live acts.

NAHTAIVEL - OPUS 93 - 2006

Nahtaivel is the new brazilian Dark-Electro band, formed by Fernando Nahtaivel.

Fernando Nahtaivel is a keyboardist which is a part of several bands of black, death and doom metal, including his band Insane Devotion. Nahtaivel already launched some work in the Brazilian EBM/Industrial scene, among them the virtual album "Opus 93" at the end of 2006.

The beginning of 2007 was marked for the first live presentation, in the brazilian traditional EBM/Industrial event, Bio Dementia, showing a vigorous Live PA, a heavy and quality EBM with live voices and synthesizers.

The band is in the process of composition and recording of his new work called "Killer Speaks", which will continue to submit the proposal for a heavy and obscure electronic music, but with great melody, technical and layered sound, and that will address the issue of extreme violence that some use to escape from the eternal servitude of man to the dogmas of society.

DEADJUMP - VIRTUAL MASTURBATION OF A BASTARD LEADER - CD-R 1997

Deadjump arrised from the Dark-Elektro band called Brutal Divergez known in the 90s musical scene. Alexandre Ramos, deadjump leader, began his work in 1996, release the first demo Holy Mind. In this demo are evidents influences from Project Pitchfork and Front Line Assembly, mixing this influences and creanting a personality sound. Many melodies, but keeping agressivity permeate nine tracks in this demotape. After acquisition new equipments, Alexandre Ramos, rebuild his concepts trying new sounds and compose VIRTUAL MASTURBATION OS A BASTARD LEADER, in 1997 by 4D Records. So on, Deadjump became recognized around the world, mainlly Germany and USA. Alexandre Ramos played in the New Metal / Industrial band Chipset Zero for a short time because of schedule incompatibility. In 1999, Deadjump relese Causa Mortis the remix álbum just to give a break for composition but keep actualized in electro scene. Bands like Front Runner, Noxious Emotion and Clone DT, participate in this álbum, mixing original tracks. Result: Fisrts quality Electronic Body Music for everyone. In 2000, released Post Morten álbum, with tracks remixed by Sleepwalk, Plastic Noise Experience, Project X and Unformed. After that Deadjump got eminence in the specialized news with good reviews and many contacts. For a time, Deadjump sttoped its Works. Now Alexandre Ramos returns in 2006 preparing a new release to consolidate the Deadjump existence and his work is coming in 22 july. The album called immortal and it will be release by RESISTANCE BEAT MUSIC, the newest brazilian label. Immortal will contain remixes from ALIEN PRODUKT, C-LEKKTOR, POLYGO, DISHARMONY AND DRUMMEL.

A-Set's music is somewhere between Industrial/EBM/Darkelectro and gets its influences from a lot of different bands like The Klinik, Skinny Puppy, Vomito Negro, FLA, Simbolo, and yelworC, from movies by directors like Bunuel, Kubrik, Lynch, and Miike, books by De Sade, Rimbaud, Bataille, Poe, Crowley, Austin Spare, the Surrealists, and Lautreamont, besides a lot of experiences, emotions, and situations. The list is huge!
The demo "A deadly past raises the future" was released in 2005 and after that some views, ranging from "life" to "composition process", changed, and in 2008 the demo "Bad timing soundtracks" was released as a download version only, all instrumental, since the lyrics had no reason to be anymore.

AIRE' N ' TERRE - CHAIN REAKTION (1984)

Born as a duo in Recife (Brazilian Northeast) back in 1997, Aire'n Terre shares a oringin common to many electronic acts: two friends sharing musical tastes but with almost none musical theory. In that way Aze von Helder e Wandeclayt M., former schoolmates from a Federal Technical School decided to start playing covers of Depeche Mode and other synthpop and EBM bands. Wandeclayt M. no longer lived in Recife the few rehearsals on their vacations were focused on the recording of a demo tape featuring two Depeche Mode covers with their friend Psycho Caesar at the lead vocals. In the next year Aze leaves Recife and sets his base in New York. At this point with its members living in different hemispheres - Wandeclayt in Santa Maria (Brazil) and Aze in NYC - the band develops a whole structure to let them survive at the cyberspace. The Chain Reaktor Virtual Studios connected machinery, brains and ideas and made possible the production of the first original composition: the track Chain Reaktion. In those days broadband connections, PC-based studios and software synthesizers were not a reality for amateur unsigned artists and they had to solve every new problem with their very own solutions. In the following years the band goes live on stage on several clubs and festivals in Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Sul (Brazilian States). The debut concert takes place in 2001 at the BioElectric Fest in Recife. In 2003 a new member joins the band: the Spanish singer, programmer and multi-instrumentist Morella Van Ingen. Based in Madrid, she's the European link in the Chain Reaktor. Still in 2003 the band plays at the BioElectric.br festival sharing the stage with Modem (São Paulo) and the synthpop duo from Argentina MHz. A'N'T melts influences of Old School EBM, synthpop melodies and the experimetalism of industrial music. Always leading to dark, obscure and deep atmospheres. Music for your feet, for your brain and for your heart.

SYNTHETIK FORM - LENELY CHILD EP - 2009

The project Synthetik Form was created by DJ LOF in 2004, influenced by the heavy sound and dry beat of EBM (Electronic Body Music). As a DJ, LOF started his activities in 1986 performing in various clubhouses in Pernambuco. As producer, his first experiences were with older Tapes Decks, creating mixes and megamix, always sharing with friends and local radio stations.
Inspired by other projects of Brazilian electronic music, as Tek Noir, Harry, Simbolo and Biopsy, and fascinated by distorted analog tones and synths, LOF has in Synthetik Form a way to expose his ideas and feelings. The project presents elements of industrial music from the 80s and 90s, but updated with new technologies, giving shape to a dancing and futuristic sound.
Top ranked four times at Fiber OnLine, the largest electronic music portal of Brazil, the Synthetik Form recently had the song "No Depression" running on German radio program Operating Tracks and entered the setlist of German DJ Der Retronaut.
Among his works, there are partnerships with the North American bands Team Skeme, Subspacy Freakquency and Oral Silence, remixes for the Germans Divamee and Motus, and for the Brazilians Logic Religion and R3pvblika. Also launched an EP of remixes for the current sensation of national post-punk, the band Plastique Noir.
Among his current works are his participation in the tribute to Harry band, the launching of the EP Lonely Child (both by the Phantasma13.com virtual seal) and the recording of his first official album to be released also in 2009.

The Cybernetic Faces was created in 1991 by Carlos Soliman as a despretencious initiative.
The band was pioneering in using computer "Commodore Amiga -500" to make electronic music in Brazil.
In the beginning, the ideia of Carlos Soliman was to only form a band for fun...
In the year of 1992, it left the first demo-tape, intitled "The New World". For the "Digital Tapes", by Dj Marcos Garcia, Dj of reputation until today in Brazilian the Electro/Industrial scene.
In 1994 with the entrance of Alex Numb in the band, the Cybernetic Faces took a route different, leaving for the side most professional, using sinthetizers and samplers, making shows in alternative houses appraised and taking its name also for the worldwide.
Known as the one of the most competent and professional bands of Brazilian EBM scene, Cybernetic Faces if it detaches as an original band and with musics of complex melodies and lyrics extremely elaborated.
The sound of the Cybernetic Faces comes pleasing publishes "Brazilian and European Electronic to it" until today with its exclusive style of music, and also being distinguished for covers played on Stage from bands like "Skinny Puppy, Projekt Pichtfork and Der Pragger Handgriff".
The diversified side of the Cybernetic faces also pleases Gothic scene, therefore its musics have harmonics and melancholic melodies, besides of agressive and deep vocal, that pleases in such a way publishes EBM to it how much Gothic.
Today the formation of the band counts on the following members:
Carlos Soliman, Ricardo Cassolato [a.k.a Sintetik] and Alex Numb. Curiously, the Cybernetic Faces not yet launched no compact disc officially...
But qualities and excellent productions are what it does not lack...
With certainty the music is expressive and original, remembering bands as Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly, Wumpscut and others, but the most professional Show...

"Old-EBM...Neo-EBM and Agressive Dancefloor Electronics...this project is setting new standards on what we all call EBM in the past".
Formed in 1995 by Julio Saraiva, in Sao Paulo City, the most powerful city in South America and one of the most decadent place in the world: violence, polution, stress, disemployment, corruption, miserable people in contrast to one of best technology of this planet, a true chaotic place.
Saraiva started with very basic machines: an yamaha synth workstation where he made the sounds, sequences and samplers; and a multi-effects for the vocals. All was mixed in a 6-ch mixer to a master tape, duplicated and they're sent to worldwide.
With the improvement of technology Saraiva could produce more professional sounding songs and by several times he was invited to take part of a lot of compilation on USA and Brazil.
In 1999 J. Saraiva has created his own label called 4D Records and founded his own studio called Toxx-O-Drome Studio to release his own works and local bands.
Nowadays, with decent equipments and a good experience FRONTRUNNER moved to Japan and Saraiva has the help of some japaneses musicians at the 3T Studios (Tokyo Terror Tech Studios) for Sound Design, Mastering and Engeneering of FRONTRUNNER songs.

Morgue started its musical activities around 1990. It has released its first cd by Subtronic Records/CDC Europe in Germany (distributed in Brazil by Cri Du Chat Disques from São Paulo) titled "the mind is a labyrinth". Thru this cd the band has become pretty known inside the alternative circuit of electronic music all over the world, taking part of several EBM/Industrial compilations and many interviews in magazines about this kind of musical genre. It played live in Europe (April 1995) at the Stillbirth Festival in Germany(Bremen) beside Last Delay and Evil Sermon; Crewzine Festival in Slovakia (Bratislava) beside Morbid Fancy, K.I.F.O.T.E. and others. It also has done several live action in São Paulo electro circuit at night clubs like Broadway, Hipodromus, Zoster, Columbia, Quorum's, Front, Television, Caís, Urbania, Armageddom, Sound Factory, etc... Morgue has taken part in many cd compilation like: Taste this 2 (Discordia/Germany), Minimal Synth Ethics 2 (Cri Du Chat/Brazil), Vertigo cd plus magazine (Celtic Circle /Germany), Absolute Control lp (Cri Du Chat/Brazil) and several tape compilation. Its second demotape titled "breaking all the bones" was recorded and produced by, in my opinion the Genesis P. Orridge-like, Apollo IX(Jungle Bells).
